Yea, the ocean looked amazing yesterday. I think it was the low clouds plus 3 days of huge waves.
That was the Muir Beach to Stinson stretch. After they re-opened it its become my new favorite loop. Mill Valley > Muir Beach > Stinson > Right on Sir Francis Drake @ Olema > Left on Platform Ridge Rd > Pt Reyes Petaluma > Right on Nicasio Valley > Left on Lucas Valley.

It never gets old. This is my Sunday therapy.
Check out the rainbow in the last photos. It looks like its radiating out of the engine :-)
And look at how clean those wheels are!! Still amazes me. This was the first rip on PCH with the new Hawk Ceramic pads. Its a pretty hairy road full of switchbacks and hairpins. They performed flawlessly. No difference in hot bite or friction vs OEM. Previously my front wheels would be black after 20 minutes on this road.

PCH is a joy but they should really ban motor homes both south and north of Bodega Bay.

Spectacular photos - wish I could experience the PCH one time in my 997
The wheels look great, I can't wait to swap out my OEM pads with the Hawks ceramic... of course since I'll be in there I'm thinking about rebuilding and repainting the calipers

Very inviting. Drove our Macan GTS to LA this weekend, got home noonish. Took the C2S out this afternoon, miss miss driving this car. Can't wait for another one of these drives.

Epic drive up to Lake Berryessa last weekend for my 70k mile anniversary. Cant believe I've already put 30k miles on this car.
We had some amazing cars in the group: a 2008 997 GT2 (tune to 650HP), a real deal Carrera RS 2.7, a '84 M941 3.6L Hotrod and a 991.2 Carrera S. It was like having a bunch of supermodels show up to your birthday party. That is until they get drunk and smash up the bar :-) That sums up how the day unfolded and I'm thankful that nobody got arrested. The GT2 and 991 ended up with tickets and but the cop never could catch up to the RS.
And holy cow is that RS fast. He led the pack and I thought he would be slowing us down. I had a hard time keeping up. The GT2 goes from a mouse to a lion instantly. Its very quiet and then as soon as you get on the gas it roars. The guy that owns it said after he chipped it its too fast. Just a little gas will send the backend out and light up all the traction controls.
Hopefully everyone learned their lesson after some youthful exuberance on this drive.

Last Sunday morning didn't always provide the best views but it was a great drive.
And to be fair the view was nice in other spots. But I was having too much fun to stop there.

I was in the automotive retail and wholesale space for 16 years. Blue colors were generally referred to as “no-sale blue”. I personally love blues including Graphite, but historically they have limited appeal in the market.
