Default P03 Bucket Seats Height & Using Cantrell Side Mount

Hi. I was looking at a 997 that comes with factory bucket seat (code P03), and I was told by the seller that the seat height can be adjusted by a Porsche tech (not on the fly of course). However, after doing some research, I don't believe it can be adjusted, unless I get something like the Cantrell side mounts (Cantrell website)

I'm only 5'-8" and I felt the standard height is a bit low for us (especially if the wife is going to drive it too). Is the Cantrell part my only option? I know there are options like seat swapping or find a seat cushion, but prefer to adjust the height before we explore other options.

Thanks for the help!

Cantrell is only option but a good one. If you use the cantrell mounts you can use them out of the box if you are looking to raise the seat. If looking to lower, you'll want to trim the top of the side rail or it will dig into the carbon of the seat

This is a super easy DIY if you already have the seat out of the car. Not terribly difficult to remove the seats either.
