Love that look. First time I’ve seen it.

Porsche SSK is awesome. It feels great but I wanted to eliminate the plastic bushings so I bought the Function First Shift Right solution and upgraded cable connections. When you add it all up, it is almost the cost of the Numeric Shifter. Depending on how far you want to go, do the calculations and decide if it is worth it to you. Overall, the Porsche Sport Shifter alone is totally worth it.

How's the short shift ? I'm considering that mod.

Yellow was never an option on Euro market

Thanks. I already did the gundo hack and happy with the sound so far. If I get used to it, I might go for a wider gundo pipe.

just keep in mind that no one to the side of you will know you are merging, changing lanes. not worth the risk IMO

most older japanese cars didnt have sidemarkers.. and that was never a problem.. also the side marker is useless .. does not blink.. and when your driving a 997 with an exhaust 90% of people notice you anyways..

+1

I actually used my Durametric to recode the side markers as side turn signals for exactly that reason on multi-line highways, otherwise, they're just steady on lights.

they've been a DOT legal requirement since 1968 and prevent an estimated 106,000 passenger and light vehicle accidents annually.

Looks awesome, Clubber! I just recently learned about the Launch Edition 997.1 and how it was spec'd. Nice additions you've made. I'll be following this thread....
