Traded in my 2008 c2s
And picked up a 2011 GTS. I have been looking for a GTS with sports suspension and full leather for a few years and one popped on on CarMax. It just makes it so much easier to buy a car from another state with little risk. Paid the transfer fee, test drove it yesterday. They gave me a reasonable deal on my car and now it is sitting in my driveway. Going to get it inspected today and I have 7 days to change my mind. Can't wait to get it on the track. Now I have to sell my extra set of "lobster forks" and get a set of center locks. For those that have a GTS, does the rim fitment look correct? If any one wants th

Congrats. Good call on the sports suspension, it was also one of my must-haves.
If by "correct" you mean what it looked like from the factory, yes, this is how RS Spyder centerlock fitment looks from the factory. If by "correct" you mean good, no. The factory RS Spyder fitments on GTS are not good. Wheels noticeably too far inboard. One of the first things I did on my GTS as it simply doesn't suit how badass the car is.

The only thing you can do with centerlocks. Buy new wheels. You can't use spacers on centerlocks. I'm running OZ Superforgiata which I love even more than I thought I would. The RS Spyder centerlocks are not heavy, but they aren't super light either.. they are lighter than the GT3 centerlocks some people switch to, oddly enough. Going with Superforgiata I saved about 5lbs a corner off the RS Spyder wheels. I think the OZ Ultralegerra save about 3lbs each over RS Spyder. Forgeline GA1R centerlock is a good option too. There are other GTS guys on here that have swapped out their wheels as well, hopefully they will chime in.

It is much faster from a seat of the pants feel. I have used launch control yet. But overall so far so good. Once I get it on the track I'll know for sure....

They were fair. After the tax benefit, the car cost me $6k in depreciation for 3 years of use. Not bad. And after inspection they are putting $2.8k towards tires and exhaust issues. So far I am really happy with Carmax. The $2.8k was a verbal agreement and I have not received the cash, but so far so good. I opted for their extended warranty that I have heard very good things about. My mechanic is actually a Carmax certified shop and he says the warranty is excellent. I got the 5 yr 100,000 mile with $300 deductible for $3k. I figured it's good piece of mind in case the PDK $@#$# the bed...
