Thoughts after 60K PDK clutch oil service
I just had the 60k service done, including the PDK clutch oil. I think that was about $500 worth of the bill.
I had notice the PDK was getting just a bit sluggish with regard to engaging going between reverse and forward and also creeping at low speed and especially reverse was a little ponderous, especially when the car was cold. Happy to say this is improved after the PDK clutch service. It is engaging the clutch more quickly and creeping is a lot smoother. They said I already had the latest firmware for the PDK, so it appears to be all due to the fluid. No trouble codes.
Given the difference, I'd probably do PDK clutch oil at 40k instead of the factory recommended 60k miles. I was about a year or so overdue based on the months vs the mileage. (2011 C2S convertible).

I have to agree. it appears that the fluid thickens over time. Since it's 75w to begin with, it doesn't do well in really cold temps. Just an observation.

Interesting. '11 S with pdk and 50xxxk. Felt guilty not doing pdk fluid last yr but neither dealer or great Indy said anything. So did last month when getting oil chg. Just cause manual said 60k/6 yrs and I was yr post that. Transmission shifted/responded fine before with no chg after new fluids. Hope my luck holds!

I too saw not change in operation when the fluid was changed at 60K miles. I just crossed 119K last week so will have my 120K service soon. Four fluids this time ...
PDK wet clutch
PDK gear oil
AWD controller
Front diff
Will see them if it changes anything.

Very good price. Had my 60K/PDK service done recently and paid double that. Only to have the PDK go into limp mode the day after I picked it up. Flatbed back to dealership where it was fixed the same day. Never got a good explanation of what happened since they weren't sure. Reset something and it's been fine since.

Agreed. I saw a big difference in the gearbox response and smoothness when I had it changed at about 50k. The gearbox was much smoother after the fluid change than it was when I bought the car at 26k miles in 2016, so I too wish I'd done it sooner. The 60k mile recommendation isn't soon enough per my experience.

To follow up, I had done at indy and Pdk was around 500 if memory is still good after large bourbon. Also did yearly oil, biannual brake fluid chgs while there.
Mainly went there cause getting front tires and they're tire rack installer (as well as really good shop).
For the record my dealer has treated me real well on the only two warranty issues; tpms and hpfp. Also had them do service for me last yr and would use them again if need arises. I know some have not been so lucky so wanted to say there are good experiences for some of us!
