Default Convertible top issues

Hi,
I don't know what the exact issue is, however I've noticed that a few times I've put top up, I've heard a "pop" sound on its way to close as if something is binding. Functionally it works fine each time, except with an occasional pop sound.
I also noticed that the round service circle went missing and that the rectangular hard top trim cover was popped up. I haven't replaced the lost round cover, but secured the hardtop cover. This weekend I noticed it was popped loose again.

anyone experience this before?

attached is a photo of the area in question (not my car)

yes

side flaps are misaligned

cover pops off and you can adjust the position

have someone open and close it a few times while you watch

Part of the top gets stuck on the wrong side of it and that is the pop you hear

mine also had a pop sound, mine was due to the top being caught on the back center latch.
