Here you go.

Rear - https://www.sonnenporscheoemparts.co...omponents-scat
Front - https://www.sonnenporscheoemparts.co...omponents-scat

For the yellow bump stops, in the front the they are called "bumpers" and in the rear they are called "stoppers". I would replace all 4 when installing the eibachs. This will be the last time you get to replace them for a while and they are cheap. My fronts had disintegrated.

For the mounts, in the front they are called the "strut mount" and in the rear they are called "upper mount". In hindsight I should have also replaced those as well if I had known. It does add $500 to the job but likely save you over the long haul. I inspected mine and they looked fine. However I've since read these do fail around 60k+ miles. I've started to hear a knock from time to time in my passenger rear strut and my indy said it was likely the upper mount as the stiffer Eibachs hasten their demise.

It would have taken me 2 minutes to replace during the initial job. After the fact its going to take me 4-5 hrs to rip the back seat out again, pull the strut(s) out, and replace it. Im debating if I just do the one and wait for the other to fail, or do both at the same time.

Anyone else have any issues due to not replacing the strut mounts? Mine is in now and I told them to replace them thinking they were not that expensive - i misread Bruce's post and thought it was both the bump stops and mounts that aren't that expensive. 2005 C2 has 30k miles on it - oh well.

Yea its your call. Its $500 in parts for preventive maintenance now vs probably $500-600 per strut in parts + labor if one fails in the future.

I drive on a lot of rough back country roads so that may shorten their life span.

How much is your indy charging to install the eibachs?

Well it was supposed to be about $1300-1400 installed inclusive of springs and bump stops and alignment. Now throw in $400- 500 for parts for the strut mounts and I'll probably be over $2k at the end of the day. This is a quality shop ((BodyMotion, Ocean Twp NJ), all sorts of high end race Porsches there. Don't mind paying if its done right and all comes out well aesthetically and ride/handling wise plus they have to put food on the table/pay the rent. They will start work tomorrow so I can still back out of the struts mounts but I think at this point I will stick with replacing them unless I hear strong opinions here otherwise

Thats a reasonable price. I think my guys had quoted a 6hr job, so $800 for labor. I did it myself and I think the springs cost $350, $100 for bump stops, $150 for alignment, and another $100 for the front strut mount I broke in the process.

Question: have you already bought spacers? You definitely need them after the drop. I have 15mm in the rear and 7mm in the front, but would suggest going 15mm all around.

Just ordered the springs from tire rack.

Also ordered Rennline spacers from ECS in 10mm front and 15 rear. I noticed that the spacers have a lot of material removed which I guess is good for weight but are they strong enough? See pic below

Has anyone done springs with 20 inch wheels?

I just purchased the Eibach pro springs for my 2009 C2S cab. I purchased the vehicle with 991 wheels and new tires.

front 8.5 x20 et51 with 5 mil spacers and 245/30 ZR 20 Perelli zero

rear 11 x20 et70 with 15 mm spacers and 305/25 ZR 20 Perelli zero

any info would be appreciated.

When spacers get thin, you need to make space for the tongues (circled in red) on the hub, but leave material to remain hub concentric...

A couple additional notes from my perspective:

I inspected my top mounts when I installed my Eibachs two summers ago and they looked okay. I think the cracking/popping issue is with the bearings degenerating. I'm only getting the issue at the front, not the rear, so I bought new bearings and most of the other associated hardware. I didn't buy new bumpstops though, they looked fine. However, I did buy new top mounts just in case, as otherwise you'd have to R&R and disassemble and reassemble the strut again. The top mounts for the AWD cars are, unfortunately, more expensive than the RWD cars. I think you can get Lemfoerder top mounts for the RWD cars, but I think only OE for the AWD cars. A quick look and the difference is $25 vs. $100+ each.

I initially baulked at the price of the top mounts and bearings, by in retrospect I'd be ahead if I did it all together at once, ie. cost of two alignments, let alone my time to R&R the struts and disassemble and reassemble.

NORCAL - any update ? Mine will be done at the end of the week.

"Well I might be a good example for you to watch. I installed a new set of Eibach springs on my 2007 C4S today. It has a pretty nice stance but have not driven it yet. I just dropped off my mufflers at FD Motor sports. They should be done Friday. Then it’s off to alignment shop. My C4S has 47k miles.
Once completed I’ll do an update with photos"

FD Motor was busy and I just picked up mufflers today. Will install tomorrow. Alignment will be done tomorrow also.
The drive home is about 60 miles. I should have a great feeling for the ride quality and any issues-then
Update and photos this weekend.
