I've been having a hard time resisting reaching out to random folks on craigslist just to correct their post

I've been taking photos of mine that will soon be up for sale on the list. I will advertise them as Lobster Forks...its a distinction that confuses me to no end.

The wheels are called lobster forks because they look like the utensil.

Is this the proverbial "toe-may-toe" - "toe-ma-toe" debate within the Porsche 997 and Boxter 987 world? Let's call the whole thing off! When these wheels were first released by Porsche, they didn't even refer to them as lobster this or that. I think in the brochure it was something like "Carrera "S" Sport" wheels or something like that. Nothing about a lobster.

While others may have perfectly valid opinions, I just call them “Ugly rims” and try to waste as little energy as possible thinking about them. I wonder though if these ugly rims came from the same same design group that presented the Panamerica because they would look perfect on that car
