Default Adjusting doors

I have an 07 cabriolet and the passenger door dosnt sound correct when it closes. It sounds like it is out of adjustment. Has anybody adjusted there doors before? Do you adjust the door itself or the attachment on the body?

What about it does not sound right? Have you done a thorough inspection of the hinges, the sealant tubes, etc.?

All of the hinges are lubes and the rubber is good. Compared to the drivers door it makes a funny "tingling noise". It's isn't the normal clunk it sound as if it is hitting to tight. The outside panels line up normally. Since no one has posted a reply I don't think many people have adjusted the door.

Is it the original door?

A body shop adjusted my passenger side door inward, they said it can be adjusted slightly by loosening the connector bolts or sometimes needs a shim. It's beyond me, but I am sure there is someone on here that has done it.

I had what I thought was a door out of alignment because it didn't close correctly but it was a cable inside the door - part of the handle mechanism that was broken.

Sounds like the door guide. I've never heard a creaky one, but apparently Porsche released an updated part for the 991 because the original part got creaky after while.

New part: https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKU9X1GUIDE.html

Edit: Wrong thread. Stupid rennlist "never ending" thread page.
