Was not aware. I may have read somewhere Lloyd may produce some of the OEM mats for PCNA? Something like that...

Very nice, congratulations! I also agree that since you've bought it from Holt, it was well sorted out. So which one do you like better, the 993 or the 997?

Well, I am still sorting through those feelings. But in the 3 weeks I have had them both, there is a spiritual AND physical difference between the two. I absolutely love my 997. It's basically my DD. On the other hand, I had a plan from the beginning: Drive the 997 for two 4-5 in a row without even looking at the 993 (which is hard because they are side by side LOL), and then jump in the 993 and see. I was honestly NOT surprised that as soon as I made that first 1st-2nd shift a big grin was elicited, like when you're scanning the fridge for something sweet and just as you are giving up, you find a pint of your favorite ice-cream hidden behind the bags of frozen veggies...

So verdict is still out. I think I will end up NOT comparing them, but loving them equally for their unique qualities. It it were only about LOOKS, the 993 has it down, without a doubt.

Very awesome indeed and a nice array of RC cars on your wall too. You definitely have the best of both worlds when it comes to 911's. There are many different variables that make it an unfair comparison esp one being a 4S vs an S. One day, I'll add an air cooled 911 to my stable.

Thank you, kind sir.
Now I am in the hunt for an '87-89 car to complete the holy trinity (according to my own gospel )

Cheers

Default New shoes

So, I have been reading about how unpopular are the lobster forks wheels (aka Carrera S for the 997.1), and I have been disappointed as I think they are boss.

As you can tell from earlier pics, my car came from the factory with the optional 19" Sport Design wheel set as optional equipment. I dig them. I've also always associated the 997.1 with lobster forks.

Lastly, I have also read in the past few months how black wheels are so passe. I think not.

So there.

BEFORE

AFTER

ALSO PUT 305's in the rear, for a chunckier look.
