Default Good Budget?

Hi Everyone, new to the 997 but not to Porsche. Do you think 45k is a good number to budget and find a 2009-2012, all stock, Carrera, PDK, white, seal/meteor gray or black with either tan or black interior? I don't know about the performance exhaust button like I have on my 996 but that would be nice along with the sport suspension. Considering selling my beautiful 04 Carrera to get into a newer car with the auto instead of my 6 speed. Any and all thoughts appreciated, thanks. Ralph

That's a good starting budget +/- 5K but that price could put you in 60K+ mileage range.

I think you can get a non-S for 45k with about 40k miles. A Carrera S will have closer to 60k miles to get down there. I purchased my 60k mile C4S PDK about 3 months ago for 45.5 for reference.

thanks rj, not looking for an S. I really like the black gauge faces and wouldn't want to go through the process of changing them out besides it's what I have now (C2) and love it...

A private party c2 shouldnt be an issue at $45k and <50k miles. Heck, if I was trying to sell I'd probably take that.

I hate to put this out there because it is a at I really want, but go to Porsche North Olmsted. They have a base carrera in sliver with a manual and the sports package for $46,000. Only 35K miles.

Downside - after market radio

thanks dg, but this time I'm going for a PDK, my 04 is MT and I'm ready for a change. Going to have a look anyways, good for reference...! Had a look and what a riot that would be, it's the same color scheme as mine; silver/black. You're right, aftermarket radio looks terrible to me and it also looks like a different shifter kit was installed. Ralph

$50K for a 2009 triple black carrera 4 cab with a PDK. And a silver hard top. And a bumper to bumper warranty for 3 years and 36K miles. Car now has 36,000 miles

I just actually purchased my '07 C2, black on black, coupe, manual with 34k miles from Porsche St. Louis. Clean carfax. They did the 40k mile service with it. I paid $44k.
