Default New to me 997.1

So today has been a long time coming and finally got on of my all time dream cars Picked this up today at a local dealership and traded in my 20111 CTS-V. The 997 is a 2006 black/black 6 speed car with only 25k miles. So far im in love with it. Here are a few pics of today. Sorry from the bad iphone pics.

It looks like you may have left the trunk open, a little? Nice car, shiny tires. The glass looks great without tinting. I hope you will keep it like that.

Very nice. You'll love it more the more you drive it. I also like your Challenger - is that a Hellcat? Very different cars. I tracked my Mustang for many years, and just started tracking my new to me 05 C2. What a joy! Very dirrent in every repsect. I still have my Mustang and enjoy driving it, but the 911 is the track weapon of choice.

Looks great... Mine normally sits next to my Challenger as well ... but I have it in the shop to have the systemic rear fender foam rust issue repaired.

What PCM firmware does it have? Did the dealer update it? Just wondering.

Thanks, so far I’m loving it, I traded my 11 CTS-V for it. The Challanger is my dads. It’s a 15 Scat Pack 392. Fun car for sure

Ahh that doesn’t sound fun, the challanger is my dads. I traded my 11 CTS-V for the 997. I’m not sure what firmware it has how can I tell? It does not have nav but that’s about all I can tell you lol. Still learning the car lol.

here was my V the last day I had it.

Congrats! The CTS-V is a fine machine, but I'm sure you'll appreciate the more lively sports car feel of the Carrera!
