Default PDK fluid change , smooth

23k miles on my 09 c4s - changed all plugs(very dirty), pollen filter, brake fluid, PDK fluid, cleaned fabspeed cone filters, oil and filter change, $1200 wheelers in Hamden CT.....excellent service. Car runs silky smooth and PDK is soooooo much smoother....amazing how well these cars run when they are perfectly “dialed in”.....

PDK fluid change is next on my list.

Did you have it done by a Porsche dealer, or indy? How much did it run?

Indy, pdk ran $450 without pan/filter, even at 23k and almost 10 years old the mechanic said fluid was very “clean”

The "smoothness" feeling may have been from a new PDK flash instead of the fluid change.

I experienced the same thing when I had the fluid/filter changed on the PDK in my GTS. Major difference in the shift quality.

As we just discussed in another thread, some like the "smoothness" with whatever flashes they're doing but I've told my service advisor not to touch mine so I still have the original settings and like it much better than the new smooth version which to me approaches TIP territory.

It's been our experience 2 years or 24k miles on a street car for change interval on the fluid on the PDK or earlier Tips provides a noticeable change in shift quality.
