Lower control arms

Lower control arms
Recently got into an 07 c2s. One of the issues the PPI indicated was that the RSS tarmac series front lower control arms had some play in one of the ball joints. The RSS website advertised these control arms as fully serviceable, so I could replace the ball joints for $100 per side. I purchased the car, then noticed that the ball joints had been removed for purchase on the RSS website. I talked to somebody from their company, and he said that they were no longer selling just the ball joint, that some buyers had some issues installing them properly, so I would need to replace the entire arms at $400 per side. So, what initially looked like a $200 fix would now be an $800 fix.
A few questions:
—anybody have a few RSS front lower control arm ball joints laying around that they’d like to sell?
—if I can’t get my hands on the RSS ball joints, I will likely go back to stock or aftermarket. My 997 will be my daily driver, so I’m just looking for the most cost effective long term solution. Porsche OEM would cost me $700, or I could get aftermarket ones from eBay for a little over $300. Anybody have long term experience with meyle control arms (I saw a post that stated that they had put meyles on their 997, but no long term comments) or any other aftermarket brands?
Thanks so much!

Meyle is an OE replacement. I’m buying a set myself. No worries with Meyle.

I've priced Meyle all over. $300 a set is robbery. $750 for OE is insanity.

Reconditioned meyle
I was ready to purchase those meyle control arms from eBay for $310. Last second, I saw that this price was for reconditioned arms. I will find new ones.

Might try Rockauto (yes, believe it or not, Rockauto). They have several brands to choose from, though I'm not sure about the quality of the other off name ones.

Genuine Porsche for $660?
ebay has a 15 percent coupon today (max $100), which would put a set of genuine Porsche font lower control arm set at $660. Shall I just bite the bullet?
