Default Best way to plugin CTEK battery charger in a public parking?

I just got a CTEK 4.3, and was wondering what's the best way to connect it up, while the car is locked in a condominium parking lot? I don't want hood to stay open and not sure what's the best way to do this?

Mine comes with the battery clips, as well as the comfort connector. I don't have the lighter connector, but could buy one if needed.

Thanks!

I would get the lighter connector. You can close the door on the cord without problems and lock the car. Been doing it this way for years without problem.

Simple solution: use the comfort connector, and put the cable+connector between the bonnet and the windscreen.
You can then easily close the bonnet, and connect the charger.
When driving off, you simply disconnect the comfort connecter, and push it down slightly so as to be hidden under the bonnet.
No need to open/close the bonnet

+1 on the lighter connector under the door. Knowing myself I think I might forget about the comfort connector and back out with it connected. The only issue I could see with keeping it plugged in a public garage is someone cutting the cord and stealing the CTEK, but I don't think running the main cord under the door would be great for the door seal given the cord's thickness.

+1 for the cigarette lighter adapter. I run mine over the door sill with the door locked w/out any issues.

I must admit that I did indeed drive off once with the comfort connector still attached on top of the bonnet.
Quikly realized my mistake when I heard the dry thud of the CTEK hitting the windscreen

Plug into console lighter socket, take the cord out over the door sill, close the door on the small cord, and then I set the charger on top of the passenger side front tire. Keeps it off the floor in case there's any wetness and also kind of out of view.

Allegedly there is even a slot pre-cut in the passenger door weather stripping to pass the wire!

There's definitely a break in the weatherstripping there - just thought it was a joint, but maybe that's the purpose - those Germans.
