Default 997 C2S KW V3 install

I am about to order KW V3 suspension for my 06 997.1 C2S. I also ordered the PASM delete and will do the installation myself.
When I called my mechanic to check if he can do the alignment he said I need to make sure to also order new tie rods since the stiffer suspension will put pressure on the toe to flex.

I have not heard of that and could not find any mention of that in any thread. I am wondering if he is right and which ones to order. Does anyone have experience with that?

Thanks in advance!!

Ball joints, tie rods, and overall suspension in general, will have more pressure on it once the car is lowered. But this just means that suspension components will not last as long as with stock suspension.
I never changed my tie rods when I lowered my car.

IMHO......I would wait until it needs changing and change it then.

I just did the install on my 997.2 with the kw v3 and i love the way the car handles now. You will need to get the dog bones and the front tie rods to get the alignment right. But it really depends on how low you want to go

Hmm so which ones would I have to get in combination with the v3 to get it right?
What do you mean with "it depends on how long you want to go"? You mean it will run down the tires unevenly ?

Thanks

Depend on how low you set the car ride height

I see. Probably not too low actually.
In any case, which dog bones and tie rods would you suggest ?

I got my set of kw v3 coilovers from autoanything.com for $2501.00 last year so you might want to call them and see if they still do the price match on them
