Just FYI:
Your stripe:
red= 179
green=40
blue=11
hue=7
sat=225
light =95
GT3RS stripe:
red=180
green=31
blue=50

Generally, when somebody asks me for graphics or texture work, they give me the base color values I should start with.

No, just making sure. I don't really know one shade of red from another. The red on your side stripe is not the same as the red in that GT3RS image. I can extract the color components from either image. Your choice.

Ohhhh right - apologies for the confusion. If possible, I think it would be better to take it from the stripe on my image. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Many thanks!

Dude, thank you so much for putting the time in. Fantastic work. I don't know about you (and everyone else for that matter) but if the paint on the calipers matched up perfectly with that on the wheels (and the stripe) it would look very unique!
Please chime in with opinions.

I used to be a video game level designer and texture artist, so this was kind of fun seeing if I could still do it with my 15 year old tools. I think I got the color to match yout stripe pretty well.

How long did it take? Feel like doing the exercise again - this time the the inner part of the wheel white and the outside lip that same red?
Or am I pushing my luck?
