The only reasons to do any of the shiny stuff in the vendor post above:
1. sound (subjective)
2. slight weight loss (not noticeable on the street)
3. shiny (you can post pics of your expensive purchase on forums like this one, and evangelize them)

And this is why I am likely just going fister. Just doesnt seem worth the $$ for anything else. For $400 i get the added sound
