Best wheel finish for longevity

What is the best wheel finish that provides resistance against brake dust, material expansion and chemicals? I've seen some wheels with very large areas of paint peeling and want to avoid that.

Some of these anodized wheels only come with 2yr guarantees.

Armor All makes a spray coating.... could be a lacquer type... impeccably clean wheels can be sprayed, air dried, and the result is a clear-coat type of finish that
resists dust, and protects the wheels. This is not the regular oil emulsion/silicone protectant used for tires and upholstery. Shop carefully and you will see it.
I am using one of the wipe on ceramic finish products on my other Porsche, and will see which one is best. The only real cure for brake dust is Hawk replacement pads. The dust is a lighter color, and much less of it.

Keeping the wheels clean, will help the finish.
I remember working on my friends 78 vette.
Wheels were filthy dirty for ten year. Seven slot, turbine, I think.
American cars manufacturers never coated the inside barrel of the wheel.
The brake dust ate right through the rim. Submerged the wheel? or put soapy water on it. BUBBLES
Had to install tubes in the tires, the wheels leaked so bad. Metal/Aluminum/salt/water/heat = costic
I never complain about cleaning my wheels. I just do it.
I have a new car with BBS wheels. I should look into so ceramic coating?

Although I have yet to try it I hear good things about using RejeX and Optimum Gloss Coat

Had good luck with Sonax Rim Shield and Gyeon Rim (coating)

This stuff is amazing. I've used it on E88s that have bare aluminum lips and they haven't lost any luster whatsoever:

You must pay particular attention to the application instructions. Once the product has cured, it does not come off without abrasive compounding.

Powdercoat and then one if the products mentioned here if the wheel is a color is the most durable finish, much more so than paint.

I plan on ceramic coating whatever wheel I decide on, I have heard great things and had good luck applying to my paint with plenty left over. With that being said, I have found BBS wheels finish to be exceptionally robust. Even in their cast variety.
