Help deciding which 997tt is a better buy
 

First post, long time reader.
I appreciate everyone's input.
I just sold my 997 c2s and looking to step up to a Turbo.
I have found two 09 997tt cabrios 6 speed manual.
#1 has 47kmiles with adaptive sports seats.
#2 has 23kmiles with PCCB.
I prefer the color combo on #2 but would rather have the adaptive sports seats over PCCB although not a huge deal.
All else being equal how much do you think the difference in price should be between the two?
Which is a better investment? What do you think would be a good price for each?
Any other thoughts?

You could add adaptives to the PCCB one for about $2-3k and have a real winner.

I agree. It's really hard to find good PCCBs at a reasonable price - rotors alone in the shape you'd want them will be at least $5,000 and that's without the calipers, which would probably run you another $2k used so your looking at about $7,000 to get the same PCCB setup that's on that car, vs adding the adaptive seats. The full power versions with pneumatic bolsters will run you $3,500 wheres the manual versions with power recline would be $2,000-$2,500 and are frequently for sale in the used Marketplace. Buy the one with the PCCBs - they're awesome brakes - work better the hotter they get, generate zero dust, and the rotors should last the life of the car unless they're tracked. If you'll be tracking the car buy a set of the Girodisc metal 2-piece rotors and corresponding pads and swap them for track days, then put the PCCBs back on for the street driving. You can use the yellow calipers with the steel rotor retrofit from Suncoast. Also, check those rotors very carefully during the PPI for any delamination on the surface and any chips on the outer perimeter on both the inside and outside. It will cost you a lot to get a replacement. If you're doing your own wheel and brake work, get 2 of the guide pins to slide the wheel away from the rotor on so it can't rotate and contact the rotor.

Loved the PCCBs on my silver 997 so much I bought a set to retrofit to my Cayenne Turbo S.

#2 without a doubt!

I am def. leaning more towards #2.
I am actually test driving it in less than an hour, will let you know how it goes.
So as to my next question, what do you think would make #2 a great deal price wise?

Post the all the options? Color?

Need to know the rest of the specs - interior trim (CF, wood, extra leather bits), wheels, other options, etc. Not knowing any of that a TT with PCCBs and that mileage - if it's really clean maybe $80k

@zeehawk: Agree - $75 - 80k on car #2 would be a great deal. Where are both cars located?

One is in FL and the other in IL.
#2 can be had for $73k+ttt - super nice car but now I have a couple of friends convincing me to be patient and go for a Coupe.
With literally this being my second day hunting I don't want to be hasty and at the same time don't want to pass on a good one - so torn!

#2 with PCCB is what I would choose. Find a set of sport seats for $3k and swap them in.
