Default Moving on - 997.2 to 991.2

I sold my 2009 997 over the weekend and will now be devoting my attention to the 2018 991.2 I bought a few months back.
I really enjoyed the car and sad to see it go. Thanks to the forum members for all the help over the last 2-1/2 years.
Cheers, Scott

Congrats on the sale Scott. I am sort of sad I did not move on it sooner as your car is a good car that was priced right, After I tried it and got back into mine, I could tell that your car had performance improvements over mine, but the improvements were very subtle. Not that my car is super raw, but there is a more raw driving experience that the 993s have which the 997 Carreras just don't have. Plus I had to go check out a 2010 997.2 3.8L C2S first because that car would have noticeable performance differences over my 993 when driven in anger on a race track (though it does come with a much steeper price tag). But even driving the 997.2 3.8L C2S on the public roads was kind of a let down and I am really torn right now. Do I pull the trigger on the more expensive 997 which would be awesome on a track, or do I keep the 993 which offers a much more engaging driving experience when driven on the public roads.

So anyway congrats on the sale. It went fast and hopefully the new owner will appreciate the good car they have just purchased. Plus if you are interested, PM me and we can setup some time for you to experience the more raw driving experience of the 993 I speak of if you have not experienced it before. I wasn't a test pilot with your car. I was seriously considering it. It's just that replacing a 993 is not easy to do.
