First post! I’ve been looking hard for a good value 997.2. I wasn’t too fussy on PDK or manual, or base car, S, or 4S. I wanted a clean, low mileage car with maintenance records and a CPO warranty. I FINALLY closed a deal on one.
I ended up at Pfaff Porsche near Toronto, Ont and saw what would ultimately become my first Porsche. It was a 2011 Carrera 4S with PDK, leather sport seats, Nav, BT, heated seats and wheel, sunroof and dimming mirrors with Sport Chrono. The car only came with 21500 km (15000 miles) and is CPO with the option to extend the CPO another 2 years next year.
‘’I pulled the trigger today and will pick it up next Wednesday!
I added 3M, rim and wheel insurance and ceramic finish to the paint. It’s finished in Meteor Gray with Black leather interior.
Those hips on the 4S..... my god these cars make my heart beat faster. I hardly see 997’s for sale, and a nice 4S for sale is pretty rare so I feel really fortunate to have secured her.

The most vital tip that I can share (and I hope that you already know) is take a trip up to the Algonquin and get to properly know your new ride!!!

Lol. I absolutely will. I live near the Niagara river and the Niagara parkway. Winston Churchill calls it the nicest Sunday drive in the world. I can’t wait to bundle my gal in the car and go for a spirited run along the Niagara river.

What David said. Get off the internet, find some fun back roads, and let it rip. Safely, of course, as you learn your new car. Then come back here and tell us how much your face hurts from having a big a$$ smile permanently plastered on it!
Haha! I absolutely will. I’ll be “on line” until Wednesday. Thursday I should book a facial massage so my face can go back to normal. I cannot believe I am the proud owner of a Porsche 911.
