PS... awesome color.. car looks great
Thanks! Yes i love the color. It's voodooblue.

Good question on the rake. From the side profile of the car, it does look like its lower in the front, but that is just based on the naked eye. Is there a 'standard' guide on what the rake measurement should be? , or what's the best way to measure?

I just put on the C4S tires on my car, a base, and you could take your hands off the wheel at over 100, no wandering or light feeling, but it did take some adjusting of pressure to feel more planted, and some time wearing in the tires.

Changing rims might affect ride as well, again I am no expert, but aftermarket rims tend to differ from factory specs in many ways.
Yea thanks for the input. My tires are new as well, previous owner got it on when i bought the car. So again, have no basis of comparison. Will definitely need to try another car (as stock as possible). nearest I have from a friend is a 997.2 GTS. that is a WB car though.

Put a digital level just below the door sill on that ledge. Should be 1-1.5 degrees of forward rake.

Ok. I suppose I have to measure at both ends?

Would this be the right spot

Default I have the same issue!

@OP I have just collected a 997.2 c2s and been driving it for the past couple of weeks. I have been experiencing exactly the same issue - above 80/85mph the car is extremely twitchy and light at the front end. I haven’t checked alignment but the car has just had a full major service and has good N rated tyres all round.

did you get to the bottom of the issue?

Also similar experience at higher speeds. Has there been any update or resolution to this issue? Thanks

I just think it's the way these cars are. I have a 997.2 S cab and I feel the front float above 120kmh. Through fast sweeping corners I feel it as early as 90kmh. It's very disconcerting, the front borderline wiggles as per the OP.

I have a .1C2S cab and don’t feel that the front is light or vague at high speed (stock wheels and suspension with N rated tires).

If you want the numbness at change over to go away you need a little bit of toe out on each front tire. Take it to get aligned and tell them you want .01-.03 toe out (negative) on the front wheels.
