Default New to forum need your opinion on this Porsche

I have been looking for a 911 for a few months and came across this. It is close to home so no shipping and has what I have been looking for. Asking price is $33995. Would like some opinions from those who know Porsche. It is a 3 owner car with a clean CARFAX.
It was sold with as a Porsche Certified Pre Owned vehicle in 2013 with 56202 miles. Thank you and look forward to hear.your comments.

Car seems tastefully modified. Somehow (and I can't believe I'm saying it) the woodgrain works. Nice to see a PCA sticker in the window there too. I'd need to know the use case to weigh in further on it. Make sure and get a thorough PPI (pre-purchase inspection).

Love the car--until you get to the interior (sorry, not my taste). Service records/history? Did I miss the current mileage? If its got records (and service is up to date), then seems to be a good deal.

Some owner/drivers object to the reflection from the sunlight on the top of the sand beige dash I would drive it to see what your thoughts are.

That's a good price as long as everything checks out, you like the mods, you like the wood, and the mileage isn't too high. Must know the mileage to truly be able to gauge value.

With those mods, was it tracked? PPI will be needed, but before that get a DME printout to see if there are any serious overrevs.

It's gorgeous. If the PPI goes well - jump on it, and drive the snot out of it!

gorgeous example. I love the wood. Priced right too. Get the ppi and move fast on it. Put some hand money on it subject to passing the ppi. That car won't sit long.

A 2006 with 68,000 miles for $33,995 is a great deal assuming everything checks out in a PPI. I'm in MD also, email me when you get a chance at daniel@dleeds.com and I'll point you in the right direction for a good PPI.

there was a Class Action Suit against Porsche concerning the reflection. Porsche settled but the included cars only date back to 2007. (The settlement amount was $175 for for out of pocket costs to remediate for 2011 to 2016 model years and $75 for 2007 to 2010 model years.)

The wheels are gone in the pictures that the dealer has up. I found the car strange when I was looking because it does not have full leather. The former owner was a member on rennlist.

I was unaware of the reflection issue. I'll have to look into that.

How do you remediate a glare?

I believe the class action is closed now, but they gave you $175 toward a pair of polarized sunglasses. I basically ended up with a free pair of sunglasses.

Well you won't believe this but I just got a call from their sales manager and another salesman sold the car from underneath my salesman. I had the cashiers check in hand so I guess I'll take it back to the bank and
start my search all over again. Thank you for all the inputs and guidance.
