My local rent-a-lift spot let me use their Autel Maxisys. This thing was awesome. I don't have much experience with Durametric, but I can't imagine it could be smoother than this. I could months playing around with it!

I needed to reset my airbag light and a few other odds and ends. While I was in there i cleared some random codes and was surprised to see some of the results. Window, mirrors, locks, AC etc, all seem to work more intelligently. I also shocked to see all the errors it was reading. Everything from bad A/C vents to jammed side view mirrors.

A couple random things

• I ran a DME report and noticed the mileage was different than the odometer, is that normal? Does computer compile data incrementally?
• Is there a way to see what kind of tune is on the car, or who tuned it?
• How do I test variocams and actuators to see if they need to be replaced?
• How about MAF sensor, are there readings or tests to check for the health of the sensor?

I did several searches and found the symptoms related to either MAF or Variocams. Basically during the startup sequence, the idle is very lopey. I already cleaned the MAF
