Default Will a 991 Steerimg wheel fit 997.2

Hi All,

I wanted to know if a 991 multifunction steering wheel will fit my 2010 997.2? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it will. A picture of your current and the 991 steering wheel you are looking to fit will help. The 991.2 steering wheel will need a new airbag as well. If you want the buttons and lights to work (with the 991.2 wheel)you will need an additional module.

That wheel will be a straight swap. Your basically just adding a wheel with multifunction. You will need to make a trip to the dealer to enable the multifunction buttons through PIWIS. Nothing else required.

you will be losing your steering wheel shift functions if you swap the manual steering wheel over an automatic transmission car.

WOW Eka, that looks amazing.

If I understand correctly, this MacanS wheel will fit both a .1 and .2 but requires the .2 airbag in both instances? Also, none of the functions on the wheel do not work?

I have a .2 so I could then reuse the airbag?

Looks like a great improvement. Any other options for OEM wheels that are a simple swap, albeit for a certified tech to change for me? I would really like to get a thicker and more attractive steering wheel in my car. Thanks!
