New 997.2 owner having fun in LA
Hi everyone,
I originally posted this in the 997 deals thread, but thought I'd make an official introduction. I'm a new owner of a 997.2 here in the LA area, but previously was both a lurker and a member of PCA through my 981S. I've been going through a bit of a conundrum these last two years, as I've absolutely had my heart set on a 997.2, but decided to try out other cars in the mean time, which meant I went from owning a GTR and a Lexus RCF in between my Porsche purchases. Looking forward to contributing to Rennlist, making new friends and connections, and hopefully cruising with some of you soon!
Some specs and pictures! (Italics denote aftermarket)

Those buckets are amazing! $6k well spent by the original owner.
Glad to see you took it straight to Angeles Forest, I did the same when I got my 997.1 C2S a few years ago. LA has amazing roads and I've started to compile some of them here: thebackrd.com

Come play with PCA Los Angeles this Saturday, May 5th as we celebrate Mexican culture and the rejection of tyranny with a scenic and spirited drive through the Santa Monica Mountains followed by a delicious brunch at El Cholo Santa Monica. We will start from our frequent meet-up location of Gelson's in Calabasas.

Thanks everyone for the responses! Loving the community so far. Definitely planning to meet up with a few of the local members for drives!
Twins!
This is a really useful site! Love it!
I didn't even hear about this in the email newsletter! Will try to make it!
Tubi is amazing! Very exotic sounding and the volume can be deafening (literally) in a parking garage. Such a change from the bassy V8 of the RCF.
