Great car. If you swap out your wheels and want to sell the stock set I’m interested.

It does have a newly repalced radio with a pioneer with appleplay, which is actually nicely functional. Maybe not period correct looking, but nice to use.
i have had a few people message me about the wheels and i will for sure be swapping them out. Only choise is if i stay 19”and keep the tires, or go 20” and sell the wheels and tires. I have no idea of what they are worth. What do they sell for?

Beautiful car! I recommend doing the H+R's, adding 15mm spacers on the rear, 7mm on the front and adjustable dog bones on the rear suspension to get the camber correct. It will look amazing sitting on those wheels. Here's a pic of the similar setup.

Congrats on the new car.

Sell the wheels to one of the takers here and pick up the forged, polished 19" Champion RS171s I have for sale. They'd look awesome with the planned drop and your exterior color and 19s are the right size for the 997. I've had 4 sets of wheels on my car, all 19s.

I looked at a few sad cars, and anything that was close,to decent sold fast or was generously over priced. I was able to find this C2S semi local (6hrs), and brought it home last night. Fortunatley there is nothing to be “fixed” (well just the stupid sticky climate switches), so i can jump right in. I will be doing some minor personal changes. I am looking for your thoughts....
1- need to lose the 4x4 suspension, so i will go with h&r springs due to the pasm. Possibly shell out the big money for the bilstiens if i want to go lower later. I had eibach on my 996 and ended up going coilover just to get it a bit lower.

2- wheels will be swapped out to 20” because i tjink the wheel arches are perfectly sized and look great with 20”. Sucky part is the brand new sport cups that were just put on these 19” wheels. May sell the package to offset new wheel cost. What do these wheels sll for?

3- it definitely needs more sound. Open to opinions here, fister, gundo, aftermarket exhaust?

4- car has sport chrono, no idea how to work it. Its not lit up (even with lights on), normis there anything on its digital display. Broken? Or just user error?

I went with H and R on my stock 19’s , ride is almost exactly the same and stance is just about perfect! 20’s might look better but you ride quality will most likely decrease

as for the exhaust, I started with fabspeed dual intake , then went to 2” gundo which sounded like a broken muffler with the DFI engine. The addition of my BillyBoat exhaust seemed to tie everything together nicely

The Carrera Sports are my favorite stock wheels so I would leave them on if I were you. After lowering will look awesome. Car is a beauty hope you enjoy it.

These Carrera Sport wheels are the best Porsche looking wheels. Also, 19" wheels ride and handle much better than 20s. I had 20s before and ended up gong back to 19s, night and day.
