Delrin is the choice....it does not get hot to fry your palm and will not transfer the cold. I bought an aluminum (black/white letters) last May and in June I had a faint shift pattern imprint on my palm after a 100 degree day. Bought a Delrin version the next day and all is well. The aluminum version is a paperweight on my desk.

Lesson learned, education passed on.

That's good to know SoCal. I have been pondering whether to go with black delrin **** & black shaft or silver aluminum **** & black shaft for my cab and I was concerned the black delrin could still be too hot in the sun. I'm in MN but the aluminum did not concern me since I don't drive it in winter and wear thin gloves in cooler weather. I have a silver on black C2S so either would look good. Decisions, decisions...

Yes, I did mean 4.27.18, thank you for catching that! Two more emails forwarded to Luka at FF, thank you! And, that free shift pattern inprint sounds like a bonus!
Seriously tho, did you notice a diff in shifting? site claims "faster shifts" with the plastic and "more precise" with the alum. @socalc2s

That’s a little subjective, but, the aluminum version was better at the track for me as I have a Numeric shifter/cables and the added weight of the aluminum did make shifting easier as the Numeric setup is more “mechanical”. The Delrin was “not as good” in my head, but then again I’m not rowing through the gears the same way the other 98% of the time. Still the FF **** is a good feeling and the more challenging effort is to keep the feet engaged with the brain and in sync with the hand!

Huaco, let me know if you can't figure it out. Voodo, 20% off.

UPDATE: Quick update (went surfing for a cpl of days), by now the original ten should have gotten invoices and I just forwarded 6 more emails as of 1:02am 4/24/18.
As far as shift boots and the plastic trim, hoping to see some pics and hear input. I got a boot off Amazon but am sceptical it will fit and it looks like I will have to cut off the original....attached to shift ****.

Thank you for all who contacted me regarding a. not having a spot to fill in preferences on invoice and b. lack of reply to emails from Luka. I just received an email from him regarding these as i have had the same exp as you guys.

Just wanted to assure you and update you that all is well and as suspected patience is key as this is a big order for him but he assured me confirmation emails will go out to each of you by end of day today and orders will ship with in a week.

Thank you everyone who participated!

Group buy is also officially closed for/as of now, thank you.
