If it's not on the build sheet, maybe it was done later. Here is a 997 GT3 that had it done.

I believe the sunroof was standard on US Spec cars. Is there a change that it was imported from Canada or elsewhere?

Both Carfax and Autocheck show US delivery/car.

A picture would help. My understanding is that all 997's came with sunroofs with the exception of the Sport Classic & GT2 (open to being wrong)

Best,

Matt

With Porsche you can pretty much order what you want. There has to be some sunroof delete cars out there.

Post the VIN and I'll get you a build sheet showing if it had sunroof delete. If it's a US car it should be in the build database.

OK

Funny story to end this debate.

I drive 6 hours with a certified check for this 997TT which the owner says has no sunroof. I didnt really care either way. I get to his house and the car is on his lift in his garage. He and his wife are talking to me while I am underneath the car. We are talking about there are no non sunroof cars supposedly. He just says "it doesn't have one". We lower the car and guess what......it has a sunroof

His wife says "really hun you didnt know all this time it had a sunroof"? He says "no"

Anyway the car is now in my garage.

Thanks for all the input as usual guys.

Congrats on your new car - looks like a nice spec. Were you basing this statement on what the clueless owner was telling you or was there some other indication?
