Very cool to see support for the 997.2 C2S in its own class. Especially from a guy like CJ.
In your opinion (and others' here), do models supported by PCA Club Racing see an increase in aftermarket support that can also be used on street/DE cars?

since we are a spec class (to keep cost down), most of the aftermarket products we use already exist. this biggest gain is in suspension set up and editing the software for on track performance

That was my assumption. Grand AM and IMSA seem to be the spots where a lot of the aftermarket support comes into play. That and guys with big wallets to pay for trans and engine mods for street cars.
it's good to know that converting a 997.2 C2S into a track car can follow some constraints for dual DE/Club Racing for those that want to progress from DE to racing... no need to race prep from scratch. And timing of introing the 997 class makes sense as it hits near the bottom of the depreciation curve.

SP997s still calls out for extra engine cooling. It would be great to learn from experts what the "ultimate" 997 setup is between MCS shocks, spring rates, bar setting..Pretty cool. I don't see any 997s in advanced driving in NorthEast too much. 3.8 Cayman is a weapon of choice.

the cayman is a great car, but I favor the 911. I have heard it said that "friends don't let friends drive caymans"
