Default Which Eibach springs ?

For the project of lowering my 997.2 I've pretty much decided on Eibach springs due to lower cost compared to TechArt springs.
However, I'm faced with this issue. Apparently there are 2 different Eibach Pro kits for the 997.2.
1. This set lowers the front and rear by 1.2" : https://www.vividracing.com/eibach-s...151578119.html
2. This set lowers the front and rear by .8" : https://www.vividracing.com/eibach-s...151578125.html

Can someone knowledgeable give some insight on the pros and cons of these 2 different springs ?

I can help!

Option 1 is actually 996 fitment.
Option 2 is 997 and what you want.

My 997.1 on Eibach. Very happy with the height and ride quality.

Looks good. Are those side markers LED clear or just clear with amber bulbs .

Per Eibach's website option #1 (part 7217.140) is for 997 RWD ( C2 or C2S ) and option #2 ( part 7222.140) is for the 997 AWD ( C4 or C4S ). The 996 RWD Eibach spring set has part number 7213.140.

Thanks, my 997.2 comes with PASM. Does it make a difference which Eibach springs to use ?

Oh man, where was this group buy last spring when I needed it? Lol.

I picked an eBay vendor, but believe that Eibach drop shipped them to me directly. Very happy with them, Goldilocks spring for my car (“not too low, juuuust right”).

This is correct.

I had the same question a number of years ago.

Sweet, thanks Ryan! Looks we have 3. I'll check with the mods so we don't break any rules.
