Color center caps - yes or no?

OP here. I finally ordered a set from Suncoast, should be here in a few days. Reading a few threads on this, it seems a bent coat hanger is the most preferred method. From what I've learned, clipping it in half and making a 2 pronged "fork" with the ends bent at a 90 degree angle with a 1/2" or so overhang is a good homebrew version of the $70 tool. Hook the two ends in then give a smooth yank (sts). I'll let you know how my experience goes.

Ah, yes...there are 2 holes in the caps.
I hadn’t noticed that.

I used an Allen wrench in one of the holes to remove the cap. Easy peasy.
