Default Help Please - What's this car worth?

I'm looking at purchasing this '07 locally and would like some opinions. Sorry, I don't have photos of the car, just the window sticker. The car has 23K miles and is immaculate, 2 owners, exclusive interior, no stories and full history. This car really looks brand new. The seller wants $50K and is not prepared to budge. Is it 'worth it'? My problem is $50K could buy me a nice 997.2, albeit with other compromises like higher mileage, less options, etc. Have the values for 997.1's changed over the last two years?

Just my opinion but for that much it should have all maintained up to date. Even though not at mileage. And virtually new tires, check the date code, and new almost new brakes, etc.

And if you put miles on it the value is going to drop rapidly. That car with 50,000 miles is a lot less, so if you are only going to keep it a couple years you are going to take a hit.

So to summarize, if it is perfect and your dream build, go for it. If not then pass.

I like that price. Maybe a few grand high...but seems like a pretty unique build. Love terra-cotta!

I paid 41k a year ago for 06 S with 18k miles with 90 MSRP. No history.

Go get her!

All maintenance has been performed on the car and the previous owner had installed a full front clip clear bra (cost $2K). I did forget to check the date codes on the tires.
I'm thinking that a fair price would be $45K??

This car will only be a weekend, toy, fun car. I would only expect to put a few thousand miles on it a year for 2-3 years.

Very cool build. Manual with both Sports Chrono and Sports Exhaust with black and terracotta interior is pretty dang cool. Prices are all over the board right now and it is difficult to find really cool spec'd cars.

At that price you are in good 997.2 area. I would pass on it. Now if it was 10k less you would be in a different boat.

Exactly. I've seen several with low mileage but priced very high at dealers but they're not moving, which has to mean something -no?

Make sure you're OK with supple leather, terra-cotta interior and wood trim. Not to everyone's liking.

The interior is stunning! The terracotta is nicely balanced with two tone black. My 993 had supple leather and I did like it. The wood would not be my first choice but it's very dark however it's not offensive at all. It's almost piano black gloss finish with a very slight grain.

Default Nice build

In that price range I’d get a 997.2...nice build though

If the car speaks to you......then the $50,000 is a fair price. Mid to upper $40s would be better but I would not pass on a car that you really like. I would be more influenced on the condition and the seller. If the PPI checks out fine, all good to go. If it needs some work, then the seller should pick up the tab.

I think it's a deal anywhere in the 40's. the 5-handle is a mental block for me on a .2. But, if you love the car then don't let 1-2k separate you.

Tire age would be a consideration.
