I HAVE THE BUG THANKS TO MY BROTHER
Hello all,
I'm new to the forum and am interested in getting a late 2000's Silver 911 4S. My brother has a 96' Targa which I've driven on a few occasions and fell in love with the performance and styling of the Porsche. I thought i had settled on the Cayman as my target vehicle due to the body lines and was later turned off by the absence of a back seat, it's still a great looking car, but in my mind the Carrera has a more refined an elegant look. Silver is my favorite color on the Carrera and it is now my target.
Last year i had the opportunity to go to the Porsche Driving Center in Atlanta and drove a 2017 Boxster S on the track for a good 90 minutes, OMFG, i was so impressed with this experience which left me hooked even deeper on getting a Porsche of my own. If you ever get the opportunity to do this you will not be disappointed. My favorite part of this experience was when the professional driver took over for the final 15 minutes which was the most amazing ride of my life, it gave me a whole new respect and perspective on how well Porsche's are engineered, un freaking believable. .I thought i had pushed the car hard when i was driving it, but was sorely mistaken by my accomplishment when the pro driver took over, he had that baby screaming within an inch of the guard rails all the way around the track. My next adventure will be a multi day training in Houston.
So, little Jason just got accepted to the University of Michigan where he will major in Saxophone performance, i'm so proud of this young man as he is musically blessed, chasing his passions and his dreams. Now, we are hoping for a full ride to UM as this will determine daddy's future with Porsche. Come on FASFA and scholorships daddy needs a new set of wheels.
I'll wrap up my first post with a funny (scary for some) experiment. One day last week i was searching auto trader for a Porsche while taking care of some business and found a beautiful C4S. I captured an image of this vehicle for later drooling. Later on that day I busted open the Tinder app and posted a picture of this car as the sole image on the Tinder profile and one would think I was all of a sudden Donald J. Trump at the I need a sugar daddy conference in Las Vegas. within minutes i got about 15 proposals from some very attractive women seeking my attention, i left the profile up for only a few hours and deleted it. The car was silver, but these chicks were obviously looking for Gold.
have a great weekend

Just finished the Yuge upgrade project on my 07 C4S and could not be happier with the outcome. She was lowered when i got her and the bottom was scrapping on low clearance situations, the tires were wearing poorly and i just had to fix the situation. She handles like a dream now, tight, responsive and fun to drive.
