2009 997.2 C4S P000A CHECK ENGINE
P000A: Intake Camshaft Adjuster Bank 1 to be operating slowly
I experienced subject fault, dealer replaced timing solenoid (9A110530803) (fortunately under CPO), but now, two weeks later, i get the same fault. Amazingly, a google search of "Porsche 911 P0000A" yielded no relevant hits. No other symptoms, car running great. Anyone have any experience or advice on how to proceed?

There's a sensor on each bank for the variocam system in addition to the solenoids that actually do the motion. Maybe one of the sensors is going bad.

When i got the original code addressed i didn't bother w/ a search or an append, but now that it came back it made me curious. I got plenty of hits on P000A for subaru, audi, vw, dodge ... and even a bunch on cayennes, but not a single one on a 911.
Don't underestimate the power of the web, there is a ton of experience and knowledge out there (including this forum).
For example, the advice Petza914 gave could save a trip to the dealer and a day or two in a macan for those of us unfortunate enough to suffer a P000A!
