Dallas area shop for PPI
 
Hi,

I am looking to get a 997 from a dealer in Dallas area and would like to get recommendation on where to get ppi.

I am located in Michigan and currently owns a 996.

Can anybody here recommends a trustworthy shop to do the ppi since I will not be there in person to check the car out.

when I buy out of state i have a dealer do a complete cpo inspection. they can provide the complete service history for everything done by porsche. look up campaigns, things shops cant do. Ive bought several cars from Park Place and would recommend them

RAC is a great choice. Might also try Mayo Performance in Euliss.

I used RAC performance about 2 1/2 years ago and found them to be thourough and very knowledgeable on our cars. I purchased a 997.2 2011 C2S with 12,000 miles as a online buyer and had the Dallas seller drive it to RAC for the PPI. I had it shipped to NY on completing the sale and after reviewing RAC’s detailed PPI report with one of their lead mechanics.

Thank you for all the help. The car got a clean ppi (with exception of TPMS battery). Bought the car unseen and shipped it to Michigan.
I am a proud owner of a 997.1 (along with 996.2).

Congrats - great looking car. Did you end up using RAC?

Yes, I used RAC. Report are very detail.
Car is better than expected.

I thought it was crazy to buy a car sight unseen and trust the PPI. It worked out great.
