Engine or Bose Sounds
I know this is a dumb post (bored today), but wondering if anyone struggles with listening to their Bose system up loud... or... just the fantastic sound of the 911 engine. I have a choice between my 70's CD's (I'm an older guy!) or the wonderful resonance of the engine and muffler system. It's a constant struggle :). I also would not mind knowing what your favorite CD/group to listen to in the car. Lately, I have been enjoying the Goo Goo Dolls.

If I'm commuting, the radio eventually comes on. If I'm driving, Porsche soundtrack (which is now amplified by semi solid mounts and gundo)!

Listening to some ABBA or Ohio Players? |
Fabspeed x pipes + gundo here.... the sound of speed

Can't always have it singing at 7,000 RPM. I usually am listening to something when I'm not on it. I'm kind of neutral on the Bose. Not great but doesn't suck. If I ever get another I'll have to option the Burmester.
Run the Jewels. "Close your eyes . . . " |
This time of year it's all radio and I can't stand the Bose sound or the interface in an 06S. It has to go. Srping and Summer the engine is all music.

There’s a radio? Never felt the need to have one in the 911. |
I play the sound track of those turbo charged 991.2 Carrera through Bose. Just kidding |
I like to listen to Trance when I drive
especially on longer drives however I do enjoy listening to the engine sound while I warm up the car |
Always have the radio on. bose is fine for me

Radio on. Music, never talk radio. Upgraded to Bose speakers to all Focals, including subs. Now it gets plenty loud and stays clear so it sounds good over the engine noises instead of all muddy.

Thanks for all of the responses. I have learned about some new music ideas that i will have to review. Pete, I bet the Focals sound awesome!

bly use a slightly larger amp with the gain turned down to drive the Utopias in the rear enclosure, but overall pretty good. Here's the conversion DIY I didhttps://rennlist.com/forums/997-forum/1023242-997-1-c2s-with-bose-complete-focal-speaker-upgrade.html |
Sometimes I listen to music, sometimes I don't feel like it. Even when I do I don't have it up so loud I can't hear the engine. I'm from the days before cars had tachs, I shift by sound. I've got Spotify Premium and can listen to exactly what I want, and without ads. The BOSE is fine with me sound-wise, but I wish mine hadn't come with it because changing out the antiquted PCM for a modern head unit would be simpler and cheaper.
