I had my 997 serviced with a friend who did this for me at his home garage. Saved me a bundle of money and used OEM parts. It's a win-win for everyone.

what are your qualifications? Where are you doing the work?

What should happen if a vehicle is damaged while in your care?

This plus a million other things. It's also a violation of rennlist rules for non-members and non-sponsors to advertise the sale of goods or services on these forums. It's a good rule, as otherwise we'd be overrun with spam and solicitations. Not trying to be a d!ck, but develop some cred here first, and check with the admins for the advertising rules, then have at it.

Getting a car serviced by a person running a defacto shop with no business license or liability insurance is great, till something bad happens or goes wrong. For you and him. There is a reason LLC's are formed.

Same risks for DIY's. It's a calculated risk.

Just make sure you know the person you're doing business with. My guy works on my car at his shop. I know his dad, mom, and both his brothers. I've done business with his family for 10 years. Just make sure you know what you're getting into, and who is doing the work.
