Default Deck lid warning

I thought this meant the trunk, but can't seem to get it to stop. Close trunk, light goes out. Hit a small bump, light comes back on again. I have tested the function of the latch and all seems fine. I'm a Porsche novice.

It is as described - the engine compartment lid and not the trunk. Sounds like a microswitch needs adjusting. After a bump and illumination of the light, is the lid actually unlatched?

If you can adjust the micro switch....adjust it. If not adjust the lid so it sits tighter or replace the micro switch. Not rocket science and defiantly worth a trip to a shop. One of my cars has a hood switch that triggered the alarm. 2 minutes to adjust it back in place and no more alarm.
