Default Car Seat in 911 Turbo?

My daughter loves going for rides in the car, she is 2, tall for her age 27lbs. I have a Recaro seat I have in my Audi that is front facing... wondering what you guys are using for front facing seats in the rear of the 997 911. Be nice to be able to take her on drives once I finally find the right Turbo.

Have not found a solution in my 2011 TTS Cab. No latch system. You did not indicate what model Turbo you have, but I have seen a latch system in the rear seats of a 991 Carerra S Cab, so if you have a 991, probably a solution out there. My problem is that any car seat I've tried has been too wide.

Search the forums, although I can't find it, there was a posting some time ago about a brand of car seat that a member was able to use. I think there was also a suggestion to remove both the rear seat and back cushions for more room.

Good luck. I wish we found a solution for my cab. Ended up buying a Mercedes E400 Cab for my wife... Car seat fits easily in back....

Planning on buying a 997.1 Turbo coupe, the lack of a latch system may be an issue,

When I had a 996 Turbo, my daughter was in a carseat. I recall having to remove the seat bottom (I think it was just velcro'd in) for the best carseat fit.
7 years later, she'll only sit in the front seat of my 997

Harmony Dreamtime. Remove seat backs and bottoms. Cabs are more challenging because of the way the firewall can't forward slightly to make space for the collapsed roof. These are good until they're about 8.

Great photo of your kids, thats one worth framing. Those fit AWESOME. How hard is it to remove the seat backs and bottoms?

I ended up buying the Porsche Junior seat. It's pricey but fit seems solid.

I have two of the Combi Corroco Convertable seat installed in the back of my 997.2 C2. Fits really securely, especially if you remove the seat backs and bottoms. No latch system in my car either, but I get a very secure install using the rear seat belts and the tether. The seat has a mechanism to grip the seat belts where they pass through the back seat which seems to work very well. Though the seat looks really small, my oldest son fit in his until he was 4. Now I my 2 year old twins use them.

Here's a link to the seat for sale on Target's website:

I used a Diono in my 996 Cab, but my kids are bigger and older, so I use a TravelSafe vest with a booster cushion.

But how did you attach the seats to the back? It's not very clear to me?!

These are full back booster sears, not infant seats. The seat belt is used around the front of the seat going around both the seat and the child and the height adjustable headrest has a guide on both sides (you'd use one or the other) to properly position the seat belt across the child.

If you need an infant seat that you install into the car that then has an integrated harness, you need a different seat than this one.

Hi everyone!
I have tried 3 separate times now to install the Combi Coccoro, and every time the same result?😤.
Apologize for poor picture but basically what I trying to show is that while top portion tight and secure with no forward/back sway.........

BOTTOM portion can be lifted almost 3 inches up and down and I cannot secure it no matter what I do!!

What am I missing?????
Any help greatly appreciated!!!!!
