Default Foggy Lens

Anyone have issue with a haze or fog build up inside of their fog light lens? Its not water or condensation just a haze that is really noticeable when the lights are on. Any thoughts or ideas to clean and or correct.

Post a picture? They are about $300 each to replace.

My headlights have a slight haze to them on the inside, and refinishing the surface didn't get rid of it. Apparently, swishing a minute amount of 100% pure methanol in there will dissolve it. Haven't tried it but will at some point - worst case, I replace them like I planned anyway.

Mine had that and I've seen others that were much worse. I polished the headlights and foglights with the 3M kit and it did wonders for the headlight and had some improvement on the fogs. However I was told the issue with the fogs is microfractures on the inside of the lens from sun damage, not just oxidation. They cant be fixed and must be replaced. Mine were ultimaletly replaced and look great. The aftermarket leds are much cheaper and if I had to do it again I might get those instead of oems.

probably lost the seal and allowing moisture in. You may be able to take the light off and reseal around with some epoxy or silicone gasket maker
