Factory iPod connection with PCM/PHONE

I am looking to install the OEM Porsche iPod/aux music interface part number 99704490177 on my sexy, staunch, 2006 997 Carrera S.
She has the factory navigation and phone module so my question is will the OEM Porsche iPod /aux music interface will still work on her?

I think it will work. I believe it’s an FM modulated system. There are other solutions available that will work better.

Is 05/06 the change year for the PCM?
