Default Under Hood Base Coat?

I was starting the install of a new brake master cylinder in friend's 997.1 S today. One of the first and worst things I found was that brake fluid has leaked from the reservoir down into the bottom of the frunk and has softened the paint along its path down to the tub. The paint just rubs off the aluminum body panels at this point. I'm capable of respraying the panel but I'd prefer to neutralize it with water and then brush on some paint instead since this car is not exactly a debutante.

The big question is what is this silver base coat in the frunk (under the carpet liner)? The car is GT Silver but the base coating is not identical to the finish coating.

Any ideas where I can find this base coat material?

Are you sure you’re not just looking at galvanized body panels?
Also I don’t think you’ll neutralize the brake fluid with water.

you should put in pictures. But the whole car is painted with one base color, unless you get to some odd spot that wasnt covered %100. the gt silver base coat is available at any auto paint store.
