Default Another Porsche to the stable

Just surprised my wife with a 2018 Macan S for Xmas.....it took 15 minutes for her to catch the sickness. She is reading the owner’s manual and asked, “what’s launch control, and do I have it?” Oh brother I’ve created a monster!

Pictures tomorrow after I pry the keys from her hand.

Based on the MBZ I traded in, that will be her Xmas gift in 8 years! Yes, traded in a 2010 with 36k Miles.

Has she driven the car?

Congratulations. That's probably our next car too, but likely a Turbo or GTS version. I'd surprise my wife too, but am out of parking places and she won't part with her 911 to have the higher utility replacement. Post up some pics here or in the Macan forum.

Congrats! Pics when yo have them. IMO, they're prettier than the Cayenne. On a tangent, I have yet to hear someone pronounce "Macan" correctly, even from Porsche salespeople; oh well, I've resigned from correcting people say, "Porsh".

The correct way is Ma-con right? Not Maykin (like bacon) or something else?

OP ~ congrats, we need pics and quick comparison to the 911

Managed to get the keys......

Mohagony Metallic / Black + Luxor interior. Nicely equipped. Will get the SC Plus added next week.

comparing to the 911....more comfortable, quieter, more room. That’s it.....but very fun to drive. The PDK is amazing.

Congrats, curious to hear your thoughts as you drive it more. They handle shockingly well. I picked up a base as a DD and I love it. If I could stretch to it, I'd have gone for a GTS...maybe next time!
