Default What is "Tooki", what is this part, and where is the CD player?

Looking for some assistance. New to me 2008 TT cab...hoping folks can solve some mysteries.

First, what is this? Rearview camera?

Next, what is "Tooki" and why is my PCM saying it is looking for it when I try to connect my phone via blue tooth?

And lastly, there are two CD holders in the glove box, but no CD player to be found. Nothing in the front boot. Did cars come without CD players and still have the button?

Thanks!

Did you look behind the panel in the trunk? That is where mine is. RJ

Found it - right in front of my face...single CD slot was above the screen. Center console came with the matching exterior paint option (black), thus I never noticed the slot.

Thanks!

Now just have to figure out if Tookie is still installed or not.

Gawd those old K40 systems are really awful... My car came with one too. It's still installed, but virtually never used. Pretty much junk imho.

.V1 on a mirror mount + Waze is what I count on.

The single CD slot is in the car, and there is a panel in the trunk with "CD Changer" also.

Britsky9,
I'm also in Philly region, northern 'burbs. What part of the city are you in?

I always thought K-40's were among the best... hidden mounting and great distance response. Real expensive too. I hardwired an upgraded V1.

My K40 always let me know where the CVS stores were (or for that matter any retail store with automatic doors).

Hey! Media, Pa...ironically enough, grew up in Elkins Park, lived near Old York Road skating rink (the zky part is in honor of Gretzky) Cheltenham '88.

I need to put batteries in the remote to see if it works.

The boot is empty, and the carpet looks original with no mods. Assuming it only came with the single CD?

Thanks!
