The door sill switch makes no sound when activated, and the trunk does not unlock. The key fob trunk switch works fine and unlocks the trunk as usual. The engine lid switch works normally. Car is a 2010 C2, bone stock since new, fully charged battery, and no other electrical issues.
I do not see a fuse allocated to this function on the fuse list, and a search of the archives suggests the switch may need repacking.
Before I order a new one, I would appreciate any suggestions.

That happened to me...in my case I think something in the switch broke. What I figured out is that I need to push back with some force before I pull up and it works... When that stops working I will have the switch replaced. Already have a switch waiting. :-)

I just had the same thing happen on Thursday. The frunk switch is the probable suspect. $90ish from Suncoast. Pelican parts might have it as well.
