Picked up a winter set of wheels and tires locally
997 Porsche Carrera Classic wheels with Pirelli Sottozero tires
Would look a bit better with spacers, but as a winter setup i prefer them to be inside the fenders anyway.

Car looks great! I actually prefer the OEM Porsche rim. On winter tires these things are so capable and fun!

I also like the stock rims as I’m not a fan of the murdered out black look.

Bronz got VERY lucky.
This car came up on a Friday afternoon, listed at a Mazda dealer IIRC, underpriced by $10K or more, and was gone ASAP.

Visited a friend, got to drive his 991.1 c4s with agency power cross pipes and muffler deletes. Sounds lovely and has bunch of cracks and pops at low rpms. He also took me for a ride in his dad's gt3 which is a completely different monster.

My 997.2 felt more sporty, torquey and raw, compared to his 991.1 c4s. For daily driving 991.1 is hands down much better car tho.

As others have mentioned, you may have a launch edition like mine and launch997. Build sheet should have it listed. Those buckets can sell for $7- 8K lightly used, so the dealer obviously didn't know their value. Again, great looking vehicle.

Awesome pickup. Congratulations - she's a beauty and was a serious bargain.

I know im going to get a lot of crap from you guys, but sport buckets are coming out and sport seats are going in. Drove out to Michigan to pick these up this weekend from a fellow rennlister.

The ducktail on the widebody is so much WIN.

I have been thinking about adding it as well, but am apprehensive about all the fitment and color match issues people are dealing with.

How was the experience for you? Was there a way to retain the light strip across the back or no?
