Both me and my wife do that. We park as far away from other vehicles as we can no matter where we are at.

My wife asks what time shuttle buses run as we're so far away from an entranceway

Hell ya I park away. Sad thing is that no matter where I park or how I park, some ALWAYS has to park next to me.

My wife parked her Panamera at least 4 stalls away from the nearest car and there were plenty of open spaces and she crossed over the line a little bit, but there was no one around and some jerk used a crayon and wrote mean things on her window.

Insane, no, it’s the other insane people we are watching out for.

Always carry a minimum of four traffic cones in the trunk and deploy them appropriately after you park.

I am a banker so I keep banker's hours. That means most of the good corner spots in my parking garage fill up before I get there. So, almost every day, I drive up to the top (6th) floor of the garage to park.

When I carry my wife somewhere, I usually drop her off at the door and then go park. When we leave, I go get the car and pick her up at the door. Most people would see that and think I'm being chivalrous but my wife knows the real reason I do it.

With space a premium, cones are not high on my list for required items to store in my car.

My advise. don't use the cones. Definition to the general public is "@#%^&*(^$#%" and virtually sure thing vandalism. Even my wife would do it.

If we're talking about the car in your avatar then I'm breaking into it even in a church parking lot.

We're at the point that we pick our destinations/activities based upon the parking situation.

The car in the background parked too close. Mr Bronson had no other choice.
