That's curious. I too have a 2011 GTS. Mine had 26k on it when I got it.. think I did the passenger side window regulator at about 30k miles. The 18k miles since then have been trouble free.

22k miles total I've put on it in a year and a half and that's the only thing I've had to do.

Just under 30k on 2011 997.2 C2. Nothing except normal maintenance, which included new battery at five years, even thou no issues with battery.

Hope this helps.
Great information as usual and very detailed book keeping Wayne- thank you

I service mine at Porsche of Fremont and it was good to learn from your maintenance sheet the going price for a front pad and rotor work job.

I’ll also need my rear pads and rotors done as well. Would you have any idea if the costs for those are the same or much higher/lower than the fronts?

09’ with 31K now, front and rear tires are also on the action item list ..debating on the Pilot Sport 4S coming from PSS’s

Mine has 35k miles and besides the regular oil changes every 5k, the following items have been replaced under my ownership. I got the car in June 2015 with 18k miles.

- Radio amp under CPO warranty.

- Low and high tone horns. Only the low tone failed (common problem with 997s) but the dealer replaced both under CPO warranty.

- Clutch safety switch under CPO warranty. I disabled it recently since this is just an afterthought for the US market. You can see the crappy way they installed it just to comply with the DOT.

- High Pressure Fuel Pump replaced for free at the dealer even though my CPO warranty had already expired.

- Drive belt done at the dealer since it needs to be done every 6 years or 60k miles. $400

- Air filters $70

- Charcoal pollen filter $55

- Wiper blades $46

- Set of Michelin Pilot PS2 $1500 installed (not at the dealer)

- Alignment done at the dealer once a year $200

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I also replaced the battery. ~$180

103,500 miles today and still running absolutely great. My hat is tipped to the Porsche engineers and technicians.

A friend got the Pilot Sport 4S after running MPSS. He speaks very highly of the new tires. I'm still on the original rear brakes so I don't know if the price is equivalent to the fronts or not, but would think they are similar. Gunter at Fremont is wonderful. Send him my regards. He's the only one I'll go to for non tire service I can't do myself (PDK oil change).

Appreciate the additional feedback on the Pilot Sport 4S Wayne, thank you.

I’ll definitely send Gunter your regards, we are foruntate to have a guy like him in the Bay Area.

Congrats on your car’s odometer with many happy miles and smiles..
